Behind the name
We chose the name 'PlayNest' as a reflection of our goal. Nest symbolizes a space designed for nurturing and care, that feels like a safe haven for growth and development for the child and the adult. A space woven together by community and connections. Play symbolizes more than just the child playing, it also about bringing out the inner child of the adult, bringing together many forms of play between children, caregivers and each other.
Our hope is to bring people together in play by creating a safe space for everyone.

Combined with our cosy cafe, PlayNest offers a perfect blend of relaxation and engagement for the whole family.

Every detail, from our carefully designed play areas to our inviting cafe, has been crafted to provide a tranquil escape from the bustling world outside. Meet the mama behind PlayNest
PlayNest was lovingly brought to life by a young mama who understood the need for a space that caters to the whole family and helps create connections and a space to take a moment and breathe. This personal touch is what makes our team special and unique – we truly understand the challenges and joys of parenthood, and it’s reflected in every aspect of our cafe and play areas.
Environment
At PlayNest we keep in mind an organic, holistic approach to play. Making to sure to provide play equipment that feels natural, is clean and supports our community. The majority of the equipment used is sourced from New Zealand companies, uses natural resources, and every day is thoroughly cleaned by our wonderful staff to help avoid spreading sickness.
