Creating a time to connect
We love to connect parents and caregivers so they can create new relationships and meet like minded people. We have specific days designed to encourage these moments.
Low Sensory Days
For neurodivergent and disabled children we have a low sensory day, (and other new ideas coming for accessibility)
On Mondays we offer free entry for those with Hapai Cards (and other related cards)
Young Parents
Our founder is a young parent and understands how hard it can be to find other parents around the same age. As well as the financial struggle of being a young parent.
On Wednesdays we offer 50% off for parents under the age of 25 (with id)
Grandparents
Whether you want to enjoy some quality bonding time with your grandchildren or you are looking after them while their parents work, Fridays are for you.
Everyday we offer 50% off for GoldCard Holders
Dads
Dads Days on Saturdays are an opportunity to bond with your kids, spending time with your family, or getting to meet other dads.
Car Park DIscount
We understand coming into the city can very quickly become expensive especially with parking, to thank you for making the effort get a free hot drink on us.
Every day we offer a free hot drink for those who drove, just show us your parking ticket to receive your drink.

Our unique play sessions
At PlayNest, we offer more than just play; we create experiences. Our sessions are crafted to spark imagination and provide engaging activities for both children and parents.
Messy play sessions
Let your little ones explore textures, colours, and creativity without the worry of cleaning up. Our messy play sessions are designed for sensory exploration.
Parents sip and paint
Unwind and unleash your inner artist in the evenings. These facilitated sessions offer a relaxing and creative escape for parents to enjoy and make new friendships.
General play
Enjoy our fantastic play cafe facilities, perfect for open-ended play and socialising. A fun and safe environment for all our young visitors.
Who can play at PlayNest?
General day to day play space is open for any child aged newborn through to 6 yrs old. Our messy play sessions are primarily designed for children over 1 yr and under 6 years old, ensuring age-appropriate fun and safety. We also offer special sessions for parents to enjoy!
Prepare for messy fun!
Our messy play sessions are designed for hands-on, sensory exploration. Please ensure your child is dressed in clothes you don't mind getting a little (or a lot) messy! We provide all the materials for creative play.
This is a 2 hour booked session run four times a day every Thursday.
Tips for a great Session
To make the most of your PlayNest experience, we recommend arriving a few minutes early. Remember to bring a change of clothes for messy play. We look forward to welcoming you to PlayNest for an amazing time!
Parents Paint and Sip
We offer multiple parents sip and paint evenings a week for young parents, mums, dads and couples. This is an opportunity to take a moment for yourself and to connect with other likeminded people. Or spend a date night away from the kids with your partner.
These groups are run by our awesome staff who will guide you through a painting, while you can enjoy some snacks and a hot drink.
