Help us build PlayNest
We are currently starting the exciting creation journey of PlayNest right here in Wellington. Our vision is to open a truly inclusive, clean, and organic play cafe designed for children of diverse ages and their families to relax and connect. To make this dream a reality for our local community, we need your help with donations and skilled volunteers across various sectors—from trades and fit-out assistance to legal planning. In appreciation of your support, contributors may receive shout-outs on our community wall and/or discounted play sessions once our doors open.
Our current needs
We are asking for a range of volunteer work to meet our start up needs.
Plumber/Electrician
We are going to require quotes for the fit out in terms of adding wall sockets, adding plumbing for basic kitchen and bathroom needs, and lighting.
Accountant/Financial Advisor
To keep our books clean and clear we will need some help establishing good practices and knowledge before we are able to hire someone for this role.
Business/Legal Advisor
Someone who is well versed in Wellington Council Regulations and practices would be a wonderful well of knowledge to help with the startup of PlayNest.
Artists
We have ideas to design some murals on some of the large wall spaces, someone who would love to help design and eventually paint these would be fantastic.
Other Help
We would love to hear from anyone who wants to or thinks they can offer something that will help this project become a real place.
